Job summary

Oshkosh Delivery, an Oshkosh company, seeks a Quality Intern to support the Quality Department and participate in continuous improvement efforts. You will review quality documentation, assist in problem solving, and maintain professional relationships with customers and internal teams.

The role requires pursuing a Bachelor's degree (Quality/Engineering/Operations/Business) with a 3.0 GPA or higher, and completion of at least Sophomore year.

Qualifications

• Student working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Operations Management/Business Administration, or a related field for entire duration of internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive, professional relationship with customers.
• Support Quality Department staff in daily activities.
• Review and update quality documentation.
• Participate in group and team meetings.
• Communicate with internal teams to correct and prevent quality issues.
• Assist in problem solving and implementing quality improvements.
• Assist in the disposition of defective material.
• Participate in quality audits internally and externally.
• Work cross-functionally with Quality and Manufacturing to resolve quality related issues.
• Proactively complete assigned tasks and pursue advanced training as required.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Operations Management/Business Administration, or related field (in progress)
