Job summary

AAK Louisville is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Intern to support our Quality and Regulatory Affairs team. This internship provides hands-on experience in food industry quality systems, regulatory compliance, and data management, ideal for students pursuing related fields.

The role targets candidates currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Food Science, Food Safety, Regulatory Affairs, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field, with strong attention to detail,

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Food Science, Food Safety, Regulatory Affairs, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with data management tools is a plus.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Data reporting, digital transition of analytical testing results, and statistical monitoring.
Review internal specifications across US locations for alignment.
Regulatory updates (newsletters, presentations, trackers).
Customer statement reviews for AAK global compliance and US regulatory compliance.
Global QFS management system standardization support.
Quality/Regulatory research and reporting.
