Job summary

AAK Louisville is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Intern to support our Quality and Regulatory Affairs team. This internship offers hands-on experience in food industry quality systems, regulatory compliance, and data management.

The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in a relevant program and has a strong interest in quality assurance, food science, regulatory affairs, or a related field.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Bachelor’s or Master’s in Food Science, Food Safety, Regulatory Affairs, Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with data management tools is a plus.
• Effective written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Data reporting and digital transition of analytical testing results.
• Review internal specifications across US locations for alignment.
• Regulatory updates (newsletters, presentations, trackers).
• Customer statement reviews for global and US regulatory compliance.
• Global QFS management system standardization support.
• Quality/Regulatory research and reporting.

About The Role

AAK is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Intern to support our Quality and Regulatory Affairs team. This internship offers hands‑on experience in food industry quality systems, regulatory compliance, and data management. The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in a relevant academic program and has a strong interest in quality assurance, food science, regulatory affairs, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Data reporting, digital transition of analytical testing results, and statistical monitoring


• Review internal specifications across US locations for alignment


• Regulatory updates (newsletters, presentations, trackers)


• Customer statement reviews for AAK global compliance and US regulatory compliance


• Global QFS management system standardization support


• Quality/Regulatory research and reporting

About You

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Food Science, Food Safety, Regulatory Affairs, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with data management tools is a plus.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
