Job summary

The Pivot Group Network in Wayland, MI is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing-focused network. You will perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet specifications.

You will use calipers, micrometers, and gauges, document results precisely, and collaborate with production to address quality issues and prevent defects, contributing to continuous improvement and compliance with quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in a technical field preferred
• 2+ years experience in quality control or inspection within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Strong understanding of metrology tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and their proper application
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and statistical process control (SPC)
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Responsibilities
