CTR Group is seeking a Quality Inspector with UT NDT certification to join our skilled team in Newport News, VA. This role involves inspecting fabricated components, castings, electrical/hydraulic parts, and raw materials to ensure conformance to specifications.

Immediate openings, competitive hourly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package are offered. Prior UT experience and CWI credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required for all levels.
• Level II requires 2+ years in manufacturing inspections; heavy materials experience; CWI preferred.
• Level III requires 4+ years in inspections; UT level I/II; CWI preferred.
• Senior requires 8+ years as a quality inspector; UT Level III; CWI preferred.

Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Inspector inspects materials and products such as fabricated components, castings, electrical and hydraulic components, miscellaneous structural components and raw materials, for conformance to specifications by performing the following duties. This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Education and Experience:

• Level II: High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing preferably performing inspections; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working with heavy fabricated materials. Certified CWI preferred.
• Level III: High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum 4 years of experience in manufacturing preferably performing inspections; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working with heavy fabricated materials. Certified UT level I or II inspector. Certified CWI preferred.
• Senior: High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum eight years' experience as a quality inspector. Certified UT Level III inspector. Certified CWI preferred.
