Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years quality inspection or manufacturing experience in a related industry.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and geometric tolerance interpretation.
• Certification in a quality discipline preferred, such as ASQ certified Quality Technician (CQT) or ASQ Certified Quality Auditor.
• Experience with PCB/Cabling Knowledge, UL Components Compliance Knowledge, and GD&T.
• Experience with CMM preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

• Use a variety of measuring devices, testing equipment, and statistical control processes.
• Perform ISIR/ First Article Inspections (FAI) and conformity inspections and raise notifications of non-conformance.
• Participate in continuous improvement / process improvement.
• Request support from an engineer to evaluate and act on inspection and test beyond capabilities.
• Effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Interact within a team environment.
• Perform other duties assigned to meet business needs.

Job Description;

• The Quality Inspector conducts inspections of products (parts, assemblies, raw materials, tooling, instruments, etc.) to validate compliance to design data requirements which include drawings, specifications, and contract requirements at predetermined steps in the manufacturing process using basic inspection methods and tools.

Skills And Experience

• Associate degree or more than 5 years related experience and/or training, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum 5 years quality inspection or manufacturing experience in a relevant industry
