Job summary

PAC Group is seeking a mid-level Vehicle Quality Inspector to perform hands-on inspections of last-mile delivery vehicles across the Northeast Zone, with on-site duties and regional travel.

You will apply inspection standards, document findings, and report issues using mobile apps. Candidates should have ASE certification or equivalent, plus EOL experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• ASE certification or equivalent hands-on automotive quality experience.
• Proven track record in vehicle quality evaluation and inspection.
• Experience with End-of-Line vehicle acceptance processes.
• Familiar with mobile inspection apps and digital documentation.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel regionally.
• English proficiency sufficient for technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Execute vehicle quality inspections per approved checklists and acceptance criteria.
• Apply defect classification and severity consistently across inspections.
• Capture standardized photographic evidence and inspection data via the mobile inspection application.
• Perform final inspection / End-of-Line (EOL) style acceptance checks.
• Travel within the Northeast Zone to cover multiple delivery station sites.
• Completed VIN-level inspection checklists and photographic evidence.
• Daily/weekly inspection activity logs.
• Escalation reports for critical findings.

Objective

Perform hands-on quality inspections on last-mile delivery vehicles across the Northeast Zone of the United States, ensuring consistent application of inspection standards and timely reporting of findings.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute vehicle quality inspections per approved checklists and acceptance criteria
• Apply defect classification and severity criteria consistently across inspections
• Capture standardized photographic evidence and inspection data via the mobile inspection application
• Perform final inspection / End-of-Line (EOL) style acceptance checks
• Travel within the Northeast Zone to cover multiple delivery station sites

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

• ASE certification (or equivalent) preferred; equivalent hands-on experience will be considered
• Proven experience in vehicle quality evaluation and inspection
• Experience with final inspection / End-of-Line (EOL) vehicle acceptance processes
• Comfortable using mobile inspection applications and digital documentation tools
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned region
• English proficiency sufficient for technical documentation

Preferred Skills

• Experience with electric vehicles and high-voltage safety training
• Experience in automotive manufacturing quality or PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) environments

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is dependent upon experience, education, and qualifications.

$40 - $45 USD
