Job Description

Position Summary

This is in an automotive manufacturing environment. Must be available for local travel, overtime, and weekends.

• The Inspector Team Assist (Team Lead) is responsible for supporting and ensuring projects are completed according to work instructions efficiently. They must ensure all data fed into I-Charts, Daily Summary, Time Keeping, and Packets are accurate and submitted timely.
• Inspect parts as required by work instructions.
• Ensure inspectors wear appropriate PPE as required by location and job.
• Ensure paperwork is filled out correctly.
• Ensure time and inspection/rework data are accurately entered into MIS promptly.
• Achieve minimum Customer Demand rates.
• Communicate job-specific activities/results with customers as directed by your supervisor.
• Support Project Coordinator tasks as needed.
• Train Inspectors on proper data and time completion.

Requirements

• Leadership experience is required.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Knowledge of all jobs being performed.
• Comfortable working in a factory or warehouse setting.
• Strong organizational and math skills.
• Good problem-solving abilities.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Email.
• Ability to read and understand technical and non-technical documents related to data recording, interfacing with technical and non-technical personnel.
• Standing for 80% of the time.
• Flexibility in shifts and willingness to travel within the area.
