Position Summary

This is in an automotive manufacturing environment.

The Inspector Team Assist (Team Lead) is responsible to support and ensure projects are completed to the work instructions in an efficient manner. They are to ensure the submission of all data feeding into I-Charts, Daily Summary, Time Keeping, and Packets produced are accurate and timely.

  1. Inspect parts as required per work instructions.
  2. Ensure inspectors are working with appropriate PPE as required per the work location and job requirements.
  3. Ensure paperwork is filled out correctly.
  4. Ensure time and inspection/rework information is accurately put into MIS in a timely manner.
  5. Ensure minimum Customer Demand rates are being achieved.
  6. Communicate job specific activities/results with customers as required and directed by your supervisor.
  7. Support Project Coordinator related tasks as requested.
  8. Train Inspectors on proper time/data completion.
Requirements
  1. MUST have some leadership experience
  2. MUST have VALID Driver's License
  3. Have knowledge and understanding of all jobs being performed.
  4. Must be comfortable in a factory or warehouse setting.
  5. Strong organizational and math skills.
  6. Good problem solving ability.
  7. Can effectively communicate both written and orally.
  8. Solid understanding of Microsoft Office and Email.
  9. Read and understand technical and non-technical documents as they relate to how data is recorded (includes the ability to interface with both technical and non-technical personnel).
  10. Standing: 80%
  11. Must have flexibility in shifts and be willing to travel within the area.
