Primary Responsibilities

• Inspect components and assembled parts.
• Read and understand assembly instructions.
• Interpret drawings and technical data packages.
• Perform internal AS9100 audits.
• Document non-conformances and investigate root causes.
• Lead or participate in 5S activities.

Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED with 3-5 years of relevant Quality Inspection experience.
• Experience leading operations or teams to complete tasks.
• Ability to solve complex problems, collaborate with team members, and communicate effectively with management.
• Knowledge of reading and interpreting drawings.
• Proficiency with micrometers, height gauges, gage blocks, radius gauges, and calipers.
• Experience in ISO9001/AS9100 manufacturing environments.
• Experience with IPC and J standard specifications is preferred.
• Ability to complete handwritten or digital inspection reports.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to work full-time with minimal supervision, prioritize workflow, and travel to customer sites for inspections.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
• Resident of North Alabama or willing to relocate to Huntsville - North Alabama, AL.
• US Citizen with a Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain and maintain).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with government contracts and SOW interpretation.

Pay Range: $50,050.00 - $90,475.00
