Job summary

MilliporeSigma in the United States (New Hampshire, Jaffrey) is seeking a hands-on quality inspector responsible for incoming inspections of raw materials and components, and for managing shipping and receiving operations to ensure materials meet rigorous quality standards.

You will read blueprints, perform inspections, document results, prepare outgoing shipments, operate forklifts, and uphold GMP, safety and environmental standards on the 6AM–2PM Monday–Friday schedule with pay range $17–$27

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in quality inspection and shipping/receiving is desirable.
• Familiarity with inspection tools and shipping documentation.
• Basic knowledge of EHS, ISO, cGMP, and other regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adherence to environmental management systems and quality control standards.
• Communicate effectively during shift changeovers and elevate issues as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Proactively identify safety, quality, and productivity concerns and report hazardous conditions observed.
• Read blueprints, specifications, and work instructions to understand quality and material requirements.
• Inspect incoming raw materials and components using approved inspection methods and equipment.
• Perform dimensional and functional testing, approve or reject materials, and accurately document inspection results.
• Prepare outgoing shipments and receive incoming materials while following safety, quality, and GMP requirements.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Scan, label, count, and verify materials and orders to ensure accurate inventory and transactions.
• Follow environmental, quality, and safety standards while identifying and reporting potential issues or hazardous conditions.
• Communicate effectively during shift changes and elevate safety, quality, or productivity concerns as needed.
