Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality inspections of products throughout the manufacturing process to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, customer requirements, and internal standards.
  • Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, indicators, comparators, and other QC tools to verify dimensions and features.
  • Operate vision inspection systems, CMM, and other inspection equipment as trained.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, travelers, work orders, inspection plans, and GD&T requirements.
  • Document inspection results accurately and in a timely manner, including measurements and nonconformances.
  • Identify, segregate, and escalate nonconforming material to the Quality Inspection Supervisor and QA/production leadership.

This role is responsible for verifying parts against drawings, specifications, work instructions, and quality requirements using precision measuring equipment and inspection systems.
