Job summary

Clariant in New Mexico is seeking a Quality Technician to perform real-time inspections of finished goods and intermediates, ensuring quality specifications are met. You will conduct inspections using calibrated measuring tools, complete SAP quality transactions, and issue NCRs for non-conforming materials.

The role offers an hourly pay rate with bonus potential, plus a strong 401K program and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Proficient in English and basic mathematics.
0-2 years of experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

You will collect and sample incoming bulk materials according to ANSI standards using Thermatron testers.
Prepare Certificates of Analysis and Compliance for the release of finished goods prior to shipment.
Maintain materials in blocked/Quality inspection status in SAP. Maintain inventory tracking logs for Southwest Creations Collab.
Process recalls of finished goods from the ABQ warehouse.
Maintain various reports, including daily reports, batch files, validation testing, capacities, and NCR database.
Assist in repacking/labeling of finished goods, while maintaining the non-conforming area.
Prepare inspection plans and instructions and assist in investigations and resolve customer complaints.
Ensure all measurement tools are maintained and calibrated.
Document control: Create and update GMS documents, including SOPs and work instructions.
Provide quality training to production operators, while also supporting other operations functions as needed.
