Job summary

Pioneer Metal Finishing is hiring a Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing quality team in Union City, CA. You will review orders, develop precise work instructions, and coordinate disposition of nonconforming material while partnering with Production, Sales, Pricing, and Customer Service to resolve quality concerns.

The role requires hands-on quality decisions, PPAP submissions, and strong communication with multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Metal finishing experience required.
• Strong organizational and decision‑making abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to translate technical information into clear work instructions.
• Collaborative, customer‑focused problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Review order information and quality criteria to develop work instructions.
• Submit PPAP and test data when needed.
• Assess nonconforming material and coordinate rework.
• Develop and submit customer corrective action reports.
• Certify outgoing products and support process troubleshooting.
