Job summary

NOV in Conroe, TX is seeking an Inspector to perform component, purchased part, and finished product inspections in a 300,000 sq ft facility. You will prepare inspection reports, review records for compliance, and maintain measurement equipment.

You will also coordinate Non-Conformance Reports, uphold NOV safety and quality guidelines, and support the team with timely, accurate documentation. The role prioritizes accuracy, cleanliness, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred and/or 3+ years of related job experience.
• 1+ years knowledge of standard safety and manufacturing processes preferred
• Experience in Quality Control, Machinist, or General Manufacturing is highly preferred
• Demonstrable experience reading and understanding engineering prints.
• Demonstrable experience using precision measuring instruments.
• Demonstrable experience using computer software programs (GagePack, ERP, Excel, Word).
• Non-destructive inspection experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on components, purchased parts, and/or finished products as required.
• Perform source inspections at facilities.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain files of inspection documents.
• Review inspection records received for compliance.
• Maintain inspection and measuring equipment.
• Prepare and coordinate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for nonconforming parts.
• Maintain NOV guidelines on safety, quality, and delivery.
• Clean work areas as necessary to maintain cleanliness, health, and safety standards.
• All other reasonable tasks are assigned to help the team, operations, or the facility overall.
