Job summary

ProSource Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join a manufacturing team in Houston, TX. The inspector will examine incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards and customer requirements.

Ideal candidates have experience with blueprints and precision measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges, and can read and interpret technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality control/inspection in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specs.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, or similar measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to stand and perform repetitive inspection tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process products, and finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Identify defects, discrepancies, and non-conforming products.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
• Communicate quality issues to production and management teams.
• Assist with investigating quality issues and identifying potential root causes.
• Ensure products meet established specifications and customer requirements.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
