Job summary

Xtreme Cubes in Henderson, NV is seeking an entry level Quality Inspector to join our team. The role focuses on inspecting materials, components, and finished products to meet quality standards during manufacturing.

You will read blueprints, use measuring tools, document results on a tablet, and work with production to implement corrective actions. This is a full-time position with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous quality control or manufacturing inspection experience preferred.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Carpentry and general construction methods knowledge.
• Experience with measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Proficient with company tablet for inspections and documentation.
• Basic computer proficiency including Windows and Office.
• Experience with SmartSheet is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and finished products to ensure compliance with company standards, customer specifications, and engineering requirements.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections using measuring tools and inspection equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records using a tablet and company software.
• Identify non-conforming materials and products and communicate findings to production and management.
• Verify corrective actions have been completed before products move to the next stage of production.
• Assist with root cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with production teams to maintain quality throughout the manufacturing process.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
