Job summary

Flowtec, partnering with a well-established manufacturer, seeks a Quality Inspector for on-site work in Northern New Jersey. The role covers incoming, in-process, and final inspection of precision machined components and pump assemblies, with strong emphasis on GD&T and CMM verification.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of quality inspection in a precision machining or manufacturing environment.
• CMM programming experience.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T proficiency.
• Experience working within ISO 9001 quality systems; military or government spec experience a plus.
• Pump or rotating equipment component experience.
• Comfortable in a machine shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of precision machined components and pump assemblies.
• Dimensional inspection using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height gauges, and indicators.
• Program and operate CMM equipment for complex part verification.
• Complete first article inspections on new and repaired components.
• Maintain inspection records within the ISO quality system.
• Work with machinists, assemblers, and engineering to resolve quality issues.
• Perform receiving inspection on supplier parts.
