Job summary

ALTOR is seeking an Inspector Packer to perform production, inspection, and packing tasks for our products. You will report to the Production Supervisor and must follow safety, housekeeping, quality, and production standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires working a 12-hour rotating shift and adhering to the daily production goals. Candidates should have a high school diploma and be comfortable with manual packing and data entry in ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Excellent manual dexterity and ability to perform repetitive packing tasks.
• Ability to read, write, and understand basic math.

Responsibilities

• Removes product from conveyor belt and places product into drying racks, boxes, or bags.
• Packs product into drying racks, boxes, or bags.
• Uses heavy-duty tape machines, cuts tape and wraps product for storage delivery.
• Lifts and moves completed boxes or bags to pallet or designated location.
• Reads and complies with product descriptions and packing instructions on data sheets.
• Completes production/quality reports and packing worksheets as required.
• Conducts visual inspections and uses measuring tools to ensure product quality; reports discrepancies.
• Maintains housekeeping and a clean, organized work area.
