About You

We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated Quality Inspector to join our team in Canton, MS. The role involves working outdoors in extreme weather, exposure to loud noises and odors, confined spaces, and overhead work.

Responsibilities

  • Create, interpret, and understand Weld Map Isometric drawings using software.
  • Enter welding and inspection data into tracking systems.
  • Assist with pressure testing plans and procedures.
  • Assemble project documentation packages.
  • Perform inspections for compliance based on drawings, specs, and procedures.
  • Test welders and perform weld inspections under various codes.
  • Follow Project Quality Assurance and Inspection Plans.
  • Assist Site Quality Manager with daily activities.
  • Maintain commitment to core values and safety policies.

Qualifications

  • Experience under a Quality Management Program.
  • At least 4 years as a Quality Inspector or Technician.
  • Current AWS CWI, ASNT VT II, or API 510/570 certifications.
  • Knowledge of NDT methods (UT, MT, PT, RT).
  • Understanding of ASTM standards and materials.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software (Procore preferred).
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to read drawings.
  • Self-motivated learner, able to travel and relocate.
  • Experience with mechanical equipment alignment and codes (ASME, AWS, ACI, AISC, NACE).
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments, climb stairs/ladders, lift up to 50 lbs, and work on uneven terrain.
  • Valid driver’s license, insurability, pass MVR background check.
