Job summary

Gregory Industries in Canton, OH is seeking a Quality Inspector on the midnight shift. The role ensures ISO compliance and handles day-to-day quality issues to maintain production standards.

You will perform in-process testing, identify holds and nonconforming material, and support customer relations while upholding quality and safety policies.

Quality Inspector

Summary:

The Quality Inspector ensures ISO compliance and handles day-to-day quality issues.

Job Core Responsibilities:

• Ensure production compliance with applicable requirements during processing.
• Identify holds, rejects, release and reapply nonconforming material.
• Handle customer complaints and claims.
• Promote positive customer relations.
• Manage daily in-house testing.
• Assist in maintaining WIP material.

Skills:

• Strong analytical skills.

• Personable and adept at dealing with customers.
• Strong knowledge of steel and galvanizing (defects).
• Physical and mechanical testing background.
• Uphold strict quality standards.
• Knowledge and understanding of current ISO 9000 standard.

Experience

• 2-3 years manufacturing quality experience.
