Job summary

Ace Precision Machining Llc is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure conformance of sheet stock, weldments, machined parts, castings, and assemblies to exact specifications.

You will perform final visual inspections, learn marking processes, and use precise tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM basics) to identify defects and uphold our quality standards. A detail-oriented, dependable candidate with manufacturing exposure is ideal.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Previous quality inspection experience preferred, but not required.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Dependable, organized, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Inspect sheet stock, weldments, machined parts, castings, and assemblies for quality and conformance to specifications.
• Perform final visual inspections to identify defects such as cracks, pits, dents, burrs, nicks, and incomplete welds.
• Learn and perform part-marking processes including Chemical Etch, Bar Code Labels, Ink Stamping, Laser Etching, Dot Peen, Vibra-Pencil.
• Assist with receiving inspection and verify materials meet specifications and purchase order requirements.
• Use inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, scales, thread gauges, and bore gauges.
• Perform basic measurements and material hardness checks.
• Learn basic CMM inspection functions, including diameter and roundness measurements.
• Compare completed parts and assemblies to drawings, routings, parts lists, specifications, and sample models.
• Identify defective parts and communicate quality concerns to the Quality Supervisor.
