Zusammenfassung

Nextern is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure product conformance through visual inspection and IMTE. You will verify mechanical and electrical acceptance against drawings, review GDP-ready travelers, and support material flow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will work with calipers, micrometers, vision systems, and logging systems, reporting issues clearly and maintaining accurate records while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years manufacturing inspection experience or equivalent.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret instructions, inspection criteria, and engineering drawings in English.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from co-workers and managers.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Willingness to be flexible with day-to-day tasks as the organization requires.
• Strong organization skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.

Aufgaben

• Uses Inspection, Measurement, and Test Equipment to verify product conformance to mechanical and electrical acceptance requirements.
• Uses visual means to verify product conformance to released specification revision.
• Manages material flow based on urgent need or a first in first out basis.
• Effective communication to project teams and inspection team regarding issues or failures during inspection.
• Is self-motivated, able to work independently, and function as an effective team member.
• Able to work in multiple electronic systems for inspection logging, inventory movement, and non-conformance entry.
• Performs data entry and/or report writing.
• Approve Traveler Documents and/or Inspection documents.
• Demonstrates safe work habits, maintains clean and safe work area.

Kenntnisse

2+ years experience in quality/mfg-ins
