Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our Milford, NH team. The role focuses on dimensional, visual, and surface finish inspections of machined parts and assemblies, including first article, in-process, and final checks.

Accuracy and prompt documentation of non-conformances are essential. The candidate should have 3+ years in a manufacturing quality environment, adept with calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection tools, and be able to lift up to 35 lbs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing quality-controlled environment conducting mechanical inspections to Commercial Standards.
• Ability to read and understand the bill of materials and work order instructions, blueprints, or technical drawings
• Demonstrated time management skills, strategic thinking, and adaptability
• General computer knowledge (i.e. log on credentials, Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel)
• Must be able to lift up to 35lbs

Responsibilities

• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections of complex parts and assemblies.
• Inspect machined parts for dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and visual quality.
• Document non-conformances promptly using ERP system.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure product is correct and on schedule.
• Adhere to safety procedures and use appropriate PPE at all times.
