Job description

We are seeking a Quality Inspector Level 2 to join our team located in Davie, FL!

The Quality Inspector Level 2 will be responsible for conducting inspections of incoming and outgoing finished goods, in-process components, and returned goods to ensure compliance with established quality standards. The inspector will also maintain accurate records, communicate results to the quality team, and assist in troubleshooting and resolving quality issues.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct inspections of finished goods, in-process components, and returned goods using established procedures.
  2. Create and process inspection lots while accurately managing data within the SAP ERP system and related internal documentation.
  3. Record and communicate inspection results clearly and accurately to the quality control team.
  4. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving quality issues, including determining when and what type of additional inspections are needed based on customer feedback and findings.
  5. Perform resistance and voltage tests using a multimeter.
  6. Use gauge testing machines for all types of gauges.
  7. Conduct waveform inspections and leak testing.
  8. Perform detailed and accurate teardown analysis.
  9. Communicate with overseas teams when needed.
  10. Perform inspections using the KUS-made white CAN BOX and P-CAN tools.
  11. Interpret HEX to DEC values and understand basic principles related to DEF sending units.
  12. Perform re-flashing of sending units as needed.
  13. Create reports and presentations using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; entering accurate data. Excel and PowerPoint skills are a MUST.
  14. Create and update SOPs, processes, and work instructions.
  15. Support process improvement initiatives and maintain accurate departmental records.
  16. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  17. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience in quality control or a related field.
  3. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow verbal and written instructions and demonstrate a high level of initiative.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized work area and perform effectively in a warehouse environment.
  5. Reliable team player with a strong work ethic and ability to learn on the job.
  6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  7. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, and other computer programs.
  8. Experience with electro-mechanical products is a plus.
  9. Proficiency in using a multimeter.
  10. Understanding of quality management systems.
  11. Able to work well in a team-oriented environment and communicate across departments.
  12. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including sitting, walking, climbing, bending, or kneeling.
