Job summary

Integer Holdings is seeking a Quality Inspector to lead inspections from raw material intake through final assembly, ensuring GMP-compliant quality and documentation. You will identify non-conforming materials and support NCR processes while maintaining Calibrations and GDP.

Qualified candidates have 4+ years in manufacturing inspection, strong GD&T knowledge, and proficiency with measurement tools. A high school diploma is required, an Associate's degree is a plus, and Oracle Quality experience

Qualifications

• 4+ years as a Quality Inspector in manufacturing.
• Understanding of GD&T and ISO9001/ISO13485 quality standards preferred.
• Strong math and measurement skills.
• Proficient with measurement tools and gages such as calipers, pin gages, etc.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, dimensional and/or functional inspections on raw materials, in-process assemblies, and finished goods per specifications.
• Record quality data and ensure GDP is applied; generate NCRs for non-conformances.
• Support first article inspections, audits, and corrective actions for continuous improvement.
• Assist in NCR metrics analysis and trend generation for non-conforming material.

What you will do in this role:

The primary purpose of this advanced position is to support and perform the inspection and testing process of materials and products from material input to final assembly of the assigned work area, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Quality System guidelines. Carries out responsibilities with little to no supervision.Demonstrates leadership abilities in the absence of the Manager/Supervisor or Team Leader.

Ensure or Establish Controls for Products and Processes

• Performs visual, dimensional and/or functional inspections for each raw material, in-process assembly, or finished product in accordance with authorized specification and applicable quality standards.Identify and segregate non-conforming materials and initiate the NCR process.
• Utilizes measurement tools/equipment and hand gages to measure physical dimensions and other attributes (e.g. pin gage, caliper, optical comparator, SmartScope, pull tester, etc.). Ensures current calibration.
• Compiles or completes quality records, reports, and/or documentation for product, material and equipment inspection ensuring GDP (Good Documentation Practices) are applied.

• Recommends appropriate gages and other equipment for the measurement of products or parts
• Understands and adheres to sampling plans.
• Provides support in material transactions in Oracle.
• Participates in the first article inspection processes.
• Supports process audits and provides give feedback to manufacturing regarding Quality findings.
• Participates in problem solving and provides input for process/product evaluations for continuous improvement. Provides support during the investigations and helps implement corrective actions.
• Generate trends of non-conforming material (NCR) and assist Quality with NCR metrics analysis.
• Manages and programs automatic CMM or Seebrez inspection equipment (if applicable).
• Monitors Dock to Stock programs (if applicable).
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Trains personnel in proper inspection techniques, systems, equipment, and processes.
• Provides support/guidance, data, and analysis to other departments.

What sets you apart:

• Minimum Education (preferred):
  • Highschool graduate or equivalent may be required.Associate's degree or experience in inspection preferred.
• Minimum Experience (preferred):
  • 4 years of work experience as a Quality Inspector or 5 years of related inspection experience in the manufacturing industry may be required. Some associate's degrees may substitute for years of experience.

* Specialized Knowledge:

o Understanding of GD&T.

o Understanding of the ISO9001/ISO13485 quality standards preferred

o Product knowledge helpful

o IPC certification may be required

* Special Skills:

o Strong computer operation skills(Microsoft Office, Oracle Quality modules)

o Strong ability to read and interpret sampling and inspection plans and engineering drawings

• Experience with the use of measurement tools/equipment and hand gages to measure physical dimensions and other attributes (e.g. pin gage, caliper, optical comparator, SmartScope, pull tester, etc.).

o Demonstrated experience measuring physical dimensions on parts

o Demonstrated organizational and communication skills.

o Detail oriented and organized

• Strong and applied knowledge of tolerances

Salary Range: $54,450 to $79,860
