Job summary

P&F Machining, Inc. in Otsego, Minnesota is seeking a Mechanical Quality Inspector III to inspect industrial and medical products using mechanical gages, CMM, and vision to ensure products meet standards and specifications.

The role requires ISO 13485 experience and GD&T expertise. Second shift is available, with shift differential and a one-week additional PTO. We offer a strong benefits package and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality inspection in manufacturing.
• ISO 13485 and AS9100 familiarity.
• Proficient in GD&T and 3D metrology.
• Experience operating CMM/VCM and reading inspection reports.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping habits.
• Ability to mentor others and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform GD&T mechanical inspections using electronic height gages, micrometers, calipers, and other instruments.
• Conduct 100% inspection and coordinate with machinists on inspection methods.
• Interpret CMM reports and ensure conformance to specifications.
• Oversee Level I inspectors and manage workflow.
• Communicate defects and concerns to production and suppliers.
• Maintain quality and ERP/MRP data accurately.
