Job summary

Crafted Staff seeks a Quality Inspector II to inspect components and assemblies for conformance to specifications and quality requirements. You will document findings, conduct inspections across production stages, and support audits and corrective actions.

The role requires 2–5 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma, and experience with ISO 9001/AS9100. Scheduling is Monday–Friday, with pay ranging from $25.00 to $28.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent + relevant work experience.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in QA/inspection.
• Vocational training or apprenticeship in a related field.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, charts, diagrams, and specs.
• Use of gauges, calipers, micrometers, and precision inspection tools.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100.
• First article inspection experience per AS9102.
• Ability to work with auditors and follow procedures.
• Strong communication and independent work capability.
• Proficient computer skills and punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products and components at various production stages for quality compliance.
• Perform visual inspections of soldered connections and mechanical assemblies.
• Use precision instruments to verify specifications and document results.
• Conduct first article inspections according to AS9102 requirements.
• Analyze data to confirm standards or identify deviations.
• Prepare inspection reports and acceptance/rejection documentation.
• Support internal audits and follow up on corrective actions.
• Engage with auditors to support AS9100 and ISO 9001 compliance.
