Job summary

MeriCal, a long-standing dietary supplement manufacturer, is hiring a Quality Inspector to ensure products meet MeriCal specifications and cGMP standards. The role covers receiving, in-process, and finished packaging inspection, with emphasis on accurate testing, documentation, and corrective actions.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in a quality-focused setting, can lift 25–30 lbs, and is familiar with ERP data entry and batch records.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in a quality-related role within the food, dietary supplement, or manufacturing sector.
• Ability to lift 25–30 lbs as needed and operate related inspection equipment.
• Familiarity with cGMPs and quality documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and analytical inspections across receiving, in-process, and finished goods.
• Document non-conformances and initiate corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain accurate batch records and test data per SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct sampling (Analytical, Microbial) and verify results against specifications.
• Enter quality data into ERP systems and communicate issues to the next level.
