Job summary

Woodward HRT, Inc. in Santa Clarita, CA, is seeking a Quality Inspector 2 for a full-time, short-term assignment through July 31, 2027. The role involves operating CMMs, interpreting blueprints, and communicating results in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

Knowledge of inspection techniques and use of inspection tools.
Ability to read blueprints and interpret manuals and routing sheets.
Ability to operate CMMs and related inspection equipment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

Operate CMM machine and maintain CMM work instructions for the set-up and inspection of parts.
Operates specialized inspection equipment (Talyrond, Nikon vision system, CMMs).
Analyze and interpret blueprints, routings, evaluation sheets and manuals.
Clean, maintain measuring instruments and test equipment; collaborate with engineers.
Collect and analyze inspection data; perform first article inspections.
Identify, document and control non-conforming material.
Inspect manufactured components; mentor others on inspection procedures.
