Job summary

SQA Services, Inc. is hiring a Quality Inspector Level 2 in Hawthorne, CA. This two-month contract role supports both first and second shifts with full-time hours. The ideal candidate enjoys mechanical products and has a keen eye for quality.

Responsibilities include detailed inspections using precision tools, interpreting drawings, applying GD&T, and learning XRF techniques and the WARP ERP system through provided training.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on quality inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and industry standards.
• Hands on experience with borescopes.
• Proficient in GD&T and validating dimensions preferred.
• Ability to adapt to new technology and software.
• Excellent visual acuity to detect defects in complex products.
• Willing to undergo a background check.
• ITAR compliant.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections and identify defects (FOD, damage, burrs).
• Proficiency with standard precision tools (borescope, calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Interpret basic drawings/blueprints (material specs, dimensions).
• Apply GD&T knowledge to verify dimensions.
• Learn and apply XRF material identification techniques (training provided).
• Learn and navigate the WARP ERP system (training provided).
• Maintain high daily throughput with 100% inspection accuracy.
