Job summary

Apollo Professional Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector II for the 2nd shift in Aiken, SC. This contract role uses a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to inspect machined and welded parts to blueprint requirements and provide auditing support to shop floor operations.

Shift hours are 3:15 PM to 1:45 AM; candidates must be a US citizen, have a high school diploma (or equivalent) with at least one year of related experience, and be able to read blueprints and use basic inspection tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and 1 year of related experience
• Experience with inspection tools (scales, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.)
• Able to read, understand, and work to blueprints
• Able to support Second and Weekend Shift

Responsibilities

Job Description

Our client is seeking a Quality Auditor (Dimensional Inspector) for its Weekend Shift. In this role as a QA, you will work with a coordinate measurement machine (CMM) to inspect machined and/or welded parts to blueprint requirements for shipment to customer base. You'll also provide auditing support to shop floor operations. Note: Position supports Second, Weekend Shift

Requirements

• US Citizenship
• High school diploma or the equivalent, and one year of related working experience
• Must have experience with and/or knowledge of basic inspection tools including scales, calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc.
• Able to read, comprehend, and work to blueprints
• Able to support Second and Weekend Shift

Skills Preferred

• Coordinate measurement machine (CMM) experience
• Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) knowledge and experience
• Weld inspection knowledge/experience
• Faro Arm/Laser Tracker or Keyence experience
