Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Richmond, VA is seeking a Quality Inspector II to ensure incoming shipments and manufactured products meet customer and company standards. This hands-on role involves inspecting cases and parts and mentoring teammates.

You will use calipers, micrometers and CMMs to take precise measurements, collect data, and participate in audits with the Quality team. A high school diploma and 3+ years of inspection experience are required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety, quality and performance procedures are followed in a safe, clean environment.
  • Data collection and charting to support quality metrics.
  • Perform part measurements to prints using calipers, micrometers, and CMM.
  • Load and test products to verify performance and specifications.
  • Collaborate with Quality team on audits, case lineups, and inspections.
  • Maintain organization of inventory storage locations and plant cleanliness.
  • Operate material handling tasks as needed (forklift, hand truck).
  • Assist with additional duties as assigned.
