Other duties as assigned. **What you will be responsible for in this role:*** Ensure company safety, quality and performance procedures are met in a safe, clean, and organized setting; offer recommendations to improve these standards* Data Collection and Charting.* Part measurements to prints utilizing precise measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, CMM* Load/Product testing.* Work with Quality team members on case line ups, audits, and inspections.* Must be a team player with good team skills and the ability to get along with all types of personalities.* Work with other departments to resolve supplier invoice/product discrepancy errors.* Understands emergency evacuation procedures, including where to gather outside the building.* Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of inventory storage locations.* Perform various material handling duties, to include, but not be limited to driving fork truck, shipping truck, hand truck, etc.* Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of physical plant, i.e., keep aisle ways, docks, etc. swept free of debris and uncluttered.* Perform other duties as assigned **What are the basic qualifications?*** High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).* 3+ years related experience and/or training, equivalent combination of education and experience.* 2+ years of experience with measuring equipment calipers, protractors, micrometers, etc.* 2+ years using and interpreting part/assembly blueprint tolerances and specifications to determine conformance to requirements. **What are the preferred qualifications?*** AS400 Experience* ASQ Certification(s) beneficial, Electronics and Mechanical systems.* Excel, Word and Power point computer applications* Experience in auditing process and products* Ability to input data into spreadsheet form and perform calculations such as Mean and Standard Deviation on the dataset and make decisions based on results. **To be a great fit for the role:*** Willing to accept new/changing responsibilities and duties.* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills along with motivational and leadership skills* Excellent organizational and time management skills* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
