Job summary

Oil States Industries, Inc. in Arlington, TX is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to support receipt, in-process, and finished goods inspection under limited supervision.

You will identify, record, evaluate, and recommend solutions to quality problems, and perform test and inspection functions across production processes. Responsibilities include dimensional and visual inspections to engineering and customer requirements; assisting with customer complaints investigations; completing reports

Qualifications

• At least 2 years inspection experience in a quality control/manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Attain and maintain ASNT TC 1A Level II certification.
• Knowledge and understanding of quality control systems and associated procedures.
• Ability to read engineering drawings for marking nomenclature and location.
• Basic computer skills, ie email, Word, Excel.
• Basic typing skills to prepare electro etch stencils
• Mathematical skills (addition/subtraction, multiplication/division, decimal to fraction conversion and vice versa and algebra.
• Ability to read, write and converse in English.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Use of a computer, phone and other office equipment, including copier/scanner, etc.
• Prolonged standing and frequent walking
• Occasional bending, stooping, reaching, pushing and pulling.
• Some repetitive activity
• Light to heavy physical effort may be required.
• Lifting and moving up to 10 pounds frequently and in excess of 20 pounds occasionally; over 30 pounds with assistance.
