Job summary

Crown Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team in a fast-paced environment. You will inspect in-process and finished products, enter data into AS400 and Excel, and help maintain quality standards across shifts.

This role requires strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts (6 a.m.–6 p.m. or 6 p.m.–6 a.m.), including weekends and overtime as needed. OSHA/WISHA safety rules compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 6 months in Quality Control/Assurance in manufacturing is desirable.
• Basic math skills required.
• Prior computer experience is required.
• Excel experience is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and good record keeping are essential.
• Ability to work under time pressures and adjust to varying schedules.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and with teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain quality standards; evaluate can samples.
• Analyze and interpret trends and conditions noted by technicians and inspectors.
• Visually inspect in-process or finished products with gauges and basic tools.
• Perform planned audits and follow-up on complaints to maintain QC standards.
• Provide coverage across other QA roles as needed.
• Enter data frequently into AS400 and Excel spreadsheets.
• Communicate quality information clearly to inspectors, plant staff, and management.
• Adhere to company and customer standard requirements; ensure effective corrective actions.
• Perform related duties as required.
