Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology is seeking a Quality Inspector I in Austin, TX to ensure products meet quality and regulatory standards throughout manufacturing. You will perform receiving, in-process, first article, and final inspections, documenting results and collaborating with production and suppliers on issues.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, applying GD&T, and using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and CMMs to verify parts meet specifications.

Qualifications

• Performs mechanical inspection to ensure all quality aspects of the job are met.
• Inspection includes materials, components, and assemblies.
• Reads engineering drawings, travelers, specs to generate inspection reports.
• Maintains accurate inspection records and nonconformance reports.

Responsibilities

• Interprets and applies requirements from drawings, BOMs, and specifications.
• Performs receiving, in-process, first article, and final inspections.
• Generates inspection reports and nonconformance documentation as needed.
• Interfaces with production, suppliers, and internal teams on quality issues.
• Maintains clean and safe work environment.
• Demonstrates strong organizational and analytical skills.
