Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0-2 years of work experience performing incoming dimensional inspections.
• In lieu of experience, Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma preferred, but not required.
• Previous experience in a Quality setting or regulated environment and/or performing quality inspections preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Understanding and application of shop mathematics.
• General knowledge of Microsoft products.
• Able to read, understand, and interpret procedural requirements.
• Ability to read drawings/blueprints.
• Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
• Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supports manufacturing and testing operations adhering to GMP/GLP to satisfy regulatory requirements.
• Ensures parts are compliant for all parts going to the manufacturing floor and to customers.
• Performs tier 1 inspections using calipers, gauges, and basic instruments.
• Maintains accurate inspection records and documentation.
• Accepts and rejects supplier lots based on inspection results.
• Documents non-conformances and engages with quality systems.
