Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Quality Inspector I to perform routine mechanical or visual inspections based on technical documentation in a manufacturing setting. You will work in a team and learn from experienced inspectors to ensure product quality.

The role emphasizes learning blueprint reading, GD&T, and platework, with a focus on accurate data collection, clear communication, and compliance with Safety and ISO procedures. Ongoing training and on-site work are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must be able to clearly, concisely, and accurately convey ideas and information to others, both verbally and in written form.
• Time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect inspection data when asked and shown by inspectors or supervision.
• Learn from experienced Inspectors and/or supervision on the job.
• Learn blueprint reading, GD&T, and platework from experienced inspectors and/or supervision.
• Contribute in some areas of inspection for which training has been provided.
• Communicate effectively to supervision verbally and in written format regarding problems and training needed.
• Participate in and sustain 5S Standards.
• Follow all required Safety and ISO procedures.
