Job summary

Pennex is seeking a Quality Inspector I at our Leetonia, OH location to conduct thorough inspections of aluminum extrusions and fabricated components. You will identify deviations from specifications and implement corrective actions to uphold quality throughout manufacturing.

Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential in this role. Responsibilities include preparing tensile samples, performing tests, documenting results, and creating material certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of related quality experience and/or training.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Tensile Samples using Oliver & band saws and drill press.
• Perform Tensile tests using Tinius Olsen equipment.
• Document test results using Document Manager system.
• Create material certifications using spreadsheet forms.
• Prepare samples for Flare testing and folding tests.
• Perform flare and folding tests using Tinius and hydraulic press.
• Document test results by photographic means.
• Other duties as assigned.
