Job summary

Salt Lake City, UT-based manufacturer seeks a Quality Inspector I-A2/B2 (SLC) to join their Quality Assurance team. You will perform mechanical, visual, and basic functional inspections of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies according to inspection plans and specifications.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and strong written and verbal communication. Familiarity with medical device regulations and FDA standards is a plus.

• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of medical device regulations and FDA standards preferred.
• Ability to perform inspection tasks using microscopes, calipers, and micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate mechanical, physical, and visual inspections of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies according to inspection plans and specifications.
• Conduct visual inspections and basic functional testing using microscopes, calipers, and micrometers.
• Support quality documentation processes, including archiving and scanning documents in electronic systems.
• Initiate Non-Conformance reports and support CAPA activities to ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Assist with special projects and continuous improvement initiatives as they arise.

As a Quality Inspector I-A2/B2 (SLC), you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting inspection and compliance processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Inspector I-A2/B2 (SLC)

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Pay Range: $20.33

Shift: 12-hour rotating shift, 6:30PM - 6:30AM
