Job summary

Verus Aerospace in Wichita, Kansas is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform receiving, in-process and final quality inspections on manufactured parts.

You will verify that previous operations on the traveler are complete, read drawings and specifications, and use micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions. The role requires strong attention to detail, communication, and flexibility to work overtime when needed.

Quality Inspector is responsible for receiving, in-process and final quality inspections.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• For painted parts, look for fish-eyes, orange peel, drips, runs, coverage, etc.
• Verify all previous operations have been completed on the traveler.
• Ensure compliance to customer requirements.
• Verify the implementation of corrective actions.
• Work non-traditional hours, such as overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Other duties, as assigned by supervision or management.
• Other duties as assigned.
