Summary

This position is primarily responsible for the verification and inspection of received parts.

Responsibilities & Duties
  1. Create inspection criteria for incoming parts and components, including updates for vendor or engineering changes.
  2. Review shipping container invoices for inspection settings prior to arrival to ensure necessary information is available.
  3. Update QC inspection requirements for parts and components in all necessary systems.
  4. Create work orders for rework of defective parts or components as required.
  5. Complete and update Quality Control Records in relevant systems.
  6. Follow the QC Inspection Guide to ensure process consistency.
  7. Verify certificates of conformance against incoming products and file appropriately.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Ability to read a tape measure and calipers
  • Proficiency in using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring devices
  • Willingness to travel up to 5%
Preferred Requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
  • Knowledge of FARO measurement system
