The compensation target range for this role is: $18.85

Job Summary

This position requires an energetic and skilled professional to become part of our dynamic and growing company. The Quality Inspector will support Production staff and help ensure that high-quality products are delivered to our customers.

Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Take ownership and assist in core QC functions and activities related to Incoming, In-Process, and Final Product Control
• Accurately complete documentation to indicate acceptance or rejection of parts and equipment
• Assist and document investigations and resolutions of problems initiated through nonconformances, corrective actions, customer complaints, and audit findings
• Assist in developing test methods and inspection plans
• Assist in validations of test methods, equipment, and processes
• Liaise with Purchasing for supplier interactions (receiving inspection)
• Gather, analyze, and report department metrics as required
• Investigate and communicate supplier quality issues/failures (receiving inspection)
• Perform standard and non-standard dimensional and/or functional tests using inspection tools and test equipment

Required Skills, Education, Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions
• Experience with product testing and inspection
• Good organizational skills
• Basic computer skills
• Good communication skills and conflict resolution ability

Physical Requirements

Physical activities may include:

• Climbing ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles
• Moving self to accomplish tasks in various environments
• Communicating with others

Constant activities include:

• Standing for prolonged periods
• Moving about to accomplish tasks
• Adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds
• Repeating motions involving wrists, hands, fingers
• Operating machinery or power tools
• Operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment (depending on position)
• Assessing work accuracy and thoroughness
