Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Danvers, Massachusetts, is seeking a Quality Inspector I to perform basic inspections of incoming materials and sorting, supporting the Operations group. You will inspect parts using visual, mechanical, and microscopic methods and accurately document results.

Responsibilities include maintaining records, data entry, and adhering to SOPs while contributing to continuous improvement. This role offers growth opportunities within MedTech quality systems.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• 1 year or less in a manufacturing environment - Medical device experience a plus.
• Ability to use inspection gauges and microscopes.
• Attention to detail with the ability to follow SOPs and inspection procedures.
• Basic knowledge in math.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to execute tasks in a timely manner under general supervision.
• Computer literacy required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
• Knowledge in ISO and GMP. US FDA 21 CFR QSR and ISO 13485 a plus.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$38,500.00 - $61,985.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

• Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
• This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
• Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
• Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
• Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
• Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
• Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
• Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
