Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Danvers, MA is seeking a Quality Inspector I to perform basic inspections of incoming materials and components, document results, and support the Operations group. The role requires microscope inspection, use of gages, and strict adherence to SOPs while maintaining records and data integrity.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and 0-1 year in manufacturing, preferably within medical devices. ISO/GMP knowledge and strong attention to detail are a plus.

Qualifications

  • High School graduate or equivalent required.
  • 1 year or less in a manufacturing environment - Medical device experience a plus.
  • Ability to use inspection gages and microscopes
  • Attention to detail with the ability to follow SOPs and inspection procedures
  • Basic knowledge in math
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to execute tasks in a timely manner under general supervision
  • Computer literacy required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
  • Knowledge in ISO and GMP. US FDA 21 CFR QSR and ISO 13485 a plus

We are searching for the best talent for Quality Inspector I.

Purpose

The Quality Inspector I will perform basic inspections and sorting of incoming materials, parts/components. Provide support as needed to the Operations group.

You Will Be Responsible For

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$38,500.00 - $61,985.00

Additional Description For Pay Transparency

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
