Job summary

MMI Engineered Solutions in Warren, MI is seeking reliable individuals to join our team as GP12 Inspectors. The GP12 Inspector ensures products meet quality standards through inspections, audits, and process monitoring, and maintains quality documentation with dimensional checks.

Support for production and engineering teams, participation in 5S initiatives, and ongoing opportunities for growth are offered. Shift schedule begins early mornings with rotating days off and extended evening hours as

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, and/or demonstrated 1 yr work-experience in a quality inspection role.
• Experience with Injection Molding processes and/or components.
• Strong Team orientation and organizational skills.
• Proven communication skills, both written and oral.
• Knowledge and experience using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software.
• Ability to stand for long periods (over 7.5 hours) in a hot, noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal system, process, and product audits; communicate results to Supervisors and Quality Manager.
• Contribute to receiving product inspection.
• Support Production Team to provide guidance as needed.
• Support Engineering Team in Tool Trials as needed.
• Participate in Supplier and Customer problem solving activities.
• Lead and participate in Quality Containment actions.
• Perform production floor audits, including process books and gauging of parts.
