Job summary

Qualifications

• Reading GD&T drawings and tolerances.
• Interpreting blueprints and CAD drawings.
• Maintaining accurate inspection records and reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-article and in-process inspections to validate production readiness.
• Identify and report defects or discrepancies promptly.
• Document results from CMM, vision systems, and comparators.
• Create and manage inspection reports using quality software.
• Maintain records of inspections and quality metrics for leadership review.
• Operate gauges on the inspection granite (height gauge, sine plate, dial indicators).
• Operate CMM, comparators and vision systems for accurate quality checks.
• Read blueprints/CAD drawings and understand tolerances and specs.
• Detect defects via visual and dimensional inspections.
• Collaborate with QC team to spot defect trends and propose improvements.
• Perform other duties and/or projects as assigned by supervisor.
• Keep workspace clean and organized.
