Qualifications

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join a precision machining and manufacturing company in Maple Grove. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with inspection experience who enjoys working with tight tolerances, precision measuring tools, and high-quality machined parts.

You’ll perform in-process and final inspections, work with a variety of measurement equipment, and receive training on advanced inspection technologies such as Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections on precision machined parts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using optical comparators
• Experience inspecting CNC machined parts
• First article inspection experience
• Previous machining experience with an interest in quality inspection
• Familiarity with CMM equipment or willingness to learn

Work Environment

You’ll work in a clean, precision machine shop that manufactures industrial components for equipment manufacturers. The facility has approximately 40 employees, creating a collaborative and close-knit team atmosphere.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eden Prairie, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
