Prototek is seeking a Quality Inspector to join a fast-paced manufacturing team in the United States. The role focuses on high-mix, low-volume production, ensuring parts meet customer specifications through detailed inspections and accurate reporting.

Responsibilities include First Article and in-process inspections, generating reports, and supporting FAI documentation while following ISO/AS procedures and contributing to continuous improvement. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Blueprint reading and basic GD&T knowledge (ASME Y14.5).
• Experience with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 / AS9100 standards.

Responsabilités

• Perform First Article, in-process, and final inspections.
• Inspect parts to print using hand tools, CMM, and optical comparators.
• Generate inspection reports and Certificates of Conformance.
• Support FAI documentation and customer certification requirements.
• Route parts through secondary processes and ensure on-time flow to shipping.
• Communicate quality issues and status updates with internal teams.
• Follow ISO/AS procedures and contribute to continuous improvement.
